Global Accessibility Awareness Day

In celebration of Global Accessibility Awareness Day on May 18th Disability Resources and Education Services (DRES) is hosting an open house from 11:30am-1:30pm in 121W Rehabilitation Education Center (1207 S. Oak Street) for people to learn about how people with different capabilities use computer technologies.

People with disabilities from the university and the community will demonstrate how they use screen readers, screen magnifiers, and software such as Kurzweil 3000 and Dragon to access online content. Everyone is welcome to come watch, learn, and/or ask questions about the experience of people with disabilities in accessing computer and web technologies.

Jimmy John sandwiches will available, so you can lunch while you learn.
