Nicholas Hoyt is a software developer and interaction designer with Disability Resources and Educational Services (DRES) at the University of Illinois and has served in this capacity for the past 9 years. He led the software development, user interface design and interaction design of the Functional Accessibility Evaluator (FAE) 1.0 and 1.1. He is currently responsible for the software development and interaction design of AInspector Sidebar for Firefox. In addition to these responsibilities, he led the development of a conceptual model for web accessibility evaluation used as the basis for Ainspector Sidebar, AInspector for Firebug and FAE 2.0. He has made significant contributions to the user interface design of FAE 2.0 and the design of the Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for the OpenAjax Evaluation Library and other software tools developed by the DRES IT Accessibility group.
